Seoul, South Korea 2013

Things you shouldn't expect seeing in this blog: Temples, Korean national costume, Festivals parade or whatever it is they do, and nature.
BUT the things you WILL see here are shopping places, food and restaurants and family pictures ^_~ V
I guess I have no excuse now to not blog about my trip to Korea since I think I've somehow catch up on my school works well, almost.

You could say we went there on the worst possible time since it was beyond freezer cold temperature (imagine the very abrupt change of temperature from 27-30 something degrees to a whooping -5 to -17!) and they were celebrating Chinese new year so Shops were pretty much closed for 2 days. JUST OUR LUCK RIGHT, BUT Myeong dong and Dongdaemun was open so we weren't that disappointed.
We took very few photos compared to the other trips because for one it was too cold to stop around to take photos and the shopping experience was a bit intense everyone ran off to their own world so not much photo opps there. HAHA I, for one, was so overwhelmed with the availability and accessibility of everything you're going to need! It's all there! waiting for you to buy them and take them home <3 I think this is just a person from the Philippines would say since there is virtually nothing here when you need something. Usually I would have to order from the internet just to buy these things that I know I dont necessarily need but want to buy. Hahaha.

So back to the subject matter: We went to Myeong Dong, Gangnam, Nandaemun, Dongdaemun, and Lotte world.
Originally, we were suppose to go to Ever land, Nami Island and Skiing. but since these three would put us all in a hypothermic state we decided not to go. Can you just imagine being in an outdoor amusement park on a freezing weather like that and have your face blast freeze from the -temperaure wind by riding fast roller coasters. No thanks, I've experienced frost bite when I was a kid and let me tell you, it's not exactly what you want to worry about during your stay there nor bring home from Korea!

I just remembered something now I didn't get to eat Red mango the whole time I was there~!!! FML!! I totally forgot to look for one! >:( HOW COULD I HAVE FORGOTTEN TO VISIT MY FAVORITE FROZEN YOGURT PLACE!? huhuhu. I blame the cold weather.

SO without further ado.. PICTURES!! ^_- v  ---> Korean Pose which you will be seeing A LOT of.

Outfit for the first day. at this point this will be the only outfit you'll get to see since I'll be all wrapped up  in thick coats hereafter. ;-o

Waiting to board

Land of cosmetics indeed. Even Barbie's got her own line of face products
First Lunch in Korea

One of those famous tourist traps. Beware of those restaurants tied up with Hotels. THIS WILL happen.
Myeong Dong Day!
Morning sunlight :)
One tip that will probably end up with you thanking me:)) If you plan to shop A LOT,(and believe me you will find yourself shopping even if you dont plan on doing so) don't bring those branded bags with you anymore (you will seriously want to throw away those expensive bags with very little space to put hardly anything) instead, bring one a lightweight hand carry luggage with you so you can put all your crap every time you buy something. believe me! hassle-free! (Just don't forget it if you stop to look st something hahaha Happened to me twice.)

Sexaay Garfield. LOL
If you're in Korea, you will see this EVERYWHERE! even in train stations lol

Myeong dong stores

Uniqlo building. We started from this entrance. 1 day won't be enough to go to all of the shops in Myeong dong

Spot the friendly neighbor!

As you go along the straight street of myeong dong there will be right and left turns like this and these lanes are filled with stores to with parallel streets so its possible to get lost here :))

Myeong dong street. It's even better at nighttime filled with street foods and stalls selling whatnots,

Super cold.

Near to end of Myeong dong street on our way to Lotte Dept.

OMG. To all Cosmetic/Perfume lovers: Don't forget to visit Olive Young stores.
Taken at a playground with snow.
Lotte World Day!

Haagen dazs Summer berry flavored ice cream sandwich.

WONDERING what this is? It's a sock vending maching  0o0

In front of a Cinderella-like castle

Castle at night.

Etude House in Lotte world.

This ride was awesome! Blast freeze your face!

Yummmy, Beetles for sale.

An almost squashed Starbucks macaron. Something I noticed in Korea, everywhere(food chains/fastfoods/restaurant) they always have the Kcal in each item. I think they're very conscious people:))

Seoul Milk. Yum yum.

Goofing around while waiting for my dad to finish deciding what Chrome hearts glasses he wants! I'm telling you he's such a girl, so indecisive!

Mehehe.

Following pictures: we were in a supermarket/foodcourt/restaurants kind of place(lotte dept). Like a citysuper!

Deciding what to get for dinner.

BEARD PAPA! better selections:)

Bought Macarons here. not bad.

A quiet town..

Asked my sister to destroy the town meheheh

Funny thing its like those lights we turn on to attract mosquitoes. This is a heater to keep you warm while waiting for a taxi.

See what I mean?
